# Uncomment if you don't want GRUB to pass "root=UUID=xxx" parameter to Linux # you can see them in real GRUB with the command `vbeinfo' # note that you can use only modes which your graphic card supports via VBE # The resolution used on graphical terminal # Uncomment to disable graphical terminal (grub-pc only) # the memory map information from GRUB (GNU Mach, kernel of FreeBSD. # This works with Linux (no patch required) and with any kernel that obtains # Uncomment to enable BadRAM filtering, modify to suit your needs # Disable os-prober, it might add menu entries for each guest GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet intel_iommu=on iommu=pt pcie_acs_override=downstream,multifunction nofb nomodeset video=vesafb:off, efifb:off" GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR="Proxmox Virtual Environment" DMAR: IOMMU cat /etc/default/grub GRUB_DEFAULT=0 See Documentation for further dmesg | grep -e DMAR -e IOMMU Warning: PCIe ACS overrides enabled This may allow non-IOMMU protected peer-to-peer DMA However i'm getting the following warning and unable to add PCI device in the WEB UI with error: No IOMMU detected, please activate it. Now I've switched it to legacy and performance is perfect again.I'm trying to get GPU passthrough to work using this guide. So it now forces me to go from Inline to Legacy mode, something it didn't do in 2.4.4. When trying to save Suricata config it kept saying "interface does not support Inline IPS Mode with native netmap". It's a VM with 2 NetXtreme II BCM57810 10 Gigabit Ethernet cards connected directly.Īnyone know if/how I can disable this throttling? I didn't have this before upgrade and the throughput was always maximum my line can offer (glass fibre 500mbps).ĬPU even during speed test, with Suricata enabled, is very low (10% or so). Mar 9 11:47:29 MDR2 kernel: interrupt storm detected on "irq17:" throttling interrupt sourceMar 9 11:47:30 MDR2 kernel: interrupt storm detected on "irq17:" throttling interrupt sourceMar 9 11:47:31 MDR2 kernel: interrupt storm detected on "irq17:" throttling interrupt source If I enable Suricata I get this over and over in the shell (only while doing the speed test between LAN and WAN). If I disable Suricata it's fine though and throughput is normal. So I just updated from 2.4.4(3) to 2.5.0 and since the upgrade my maximum speed has dropped from 500mbps to 150ish.
